UPDATE #3: One sent to hospital after motorcycle crash in Saline/Gallatin Co.

UPDATE #3: 3:17 p.m. Caleb Jones, 19, of Gallatin County has been positively identified as the crash victim, this according to hospital officials. Jones’ injuries are still not being reported but we do know he is being transported by ambulance to an Evansville, Ind. hospital. See original post below.

UPDATE #2: 3:03 p.m. reports are coming out of Eldorado that former police officer Tom Martin, the man’s whose name came back as the owner of the crashed motorcycle, is pissed. Apparently that motorcycle has been through three or more owners since Martin owned it and nobody bothered changing the title information. See original post below.

UPDATE #1: 2:36 p.m. sources have just confirmed the license plate on the crashed motorcycle has come back to a Tom Martin of Eldorado. NOTE: That DOES NOT mean it was Martin riding it at the time of the crash. Tom  Martin is a former Eldorado police officer.  See original post below.

SALINE/GALLATIN CO.– At approximately 12:37 p.m. both Saline and Gallatin County authorities were dispatched on a report of a motorcycle crash at Grayson Road and Ill. Rte. 142.

Sources indicate the location may have been near the mine entrance at the Wildcat Hills Peabody Mine.

Med Force ambulance and Eldorado police arrived on scene within minutes of the call-out.

Sources say when officials arrived they found a man laying on the ground with unknown injuries.

“It appears there were no other vehicles involved,” said one source.

A Saline County deputy was also dispatched to the scene.

At approximately 12:53 p.m. the injured man was transported to Ferrell Hospital.

The extent of his injuries at the time of transport were unknown.

There has also been no word of how old the man is.
