A few hours ago we texted down to Texas to see if the Jenkins—Brandon & his wife Nicole—were going to be in Olney today for a scheduled status hearing on his misdemeanor case there.
LAWRENCE CO.—Whether the state is ready for the case or not, it appeared, as of press time (August 24), that Tyler McQueen’s murder trial was set to go on Monday, August 27.
OLNEY—The August 13 Olney City Council became a circus sideshow before it even began, and the city council seems to be at a loss as to how to handle it.
LAWRENCEVILLE—Intense concern has been developing over the situation at the United Methodist Village (UMV) in Lawrenceville…as well as other nursing home/assisted living facilities in the area.
HARRISBURG—The Harrisburg City Council spent a portion of its mid-month meeting congratulating their “Citizen of the Month,” STORM, and recognizing those STORM volunteers who have put in long hours “doing what we can’t do,” according to Mayor Eric Gregg, in that they are organizing and continuing to support recovery in wake of the February 29, 2012 “Leap Day Tornado” that struck in the early morning hours of that day.
HARRISBURG—While there has been no official movement in the case involving the hours-long “inspection” by federal agents at the Harrisburg location of MediCap Pharmacy, unofficially, it appears there are people who are scrambling.
LAWRENCEVILLE—Yet another “apparent” meth bust occurring at the end of July has gone from what was then a simple OP to a major meth bust, with some bizarre tendrils curling around the edges.
