CONFIRMED: CHAMPION LABS IS MOVING WAREHOUSE TO KENTUCKY
EDWARDS CO.—We learned last night that Albion’s premier industry, Champion Labs, is set to lose between 100-150 jobs as the warehouse will be moving operations to Hebron, Kentucky.
Sources indicate that the company is looking to move those people losing their warehouse jobs onto line jobs to minimize the employment impact on the company and indeed the community, as many folks drive from miles around to work at Champ.
The facility, located on Industrial Drive in Albion, is said to be set for complete shutdown within 4 to 6 months.

Hebron is about 10 or 12 miles from me, it’s a busy place. Hope not too many over there lose their jobs from it. In case they offer jobs in Hebron, it might be worth considering. It’s not too bad over here although it did take me some time getting used to it.
