ADEMO FOUND GUILTY
As if there weren’t already enough to find disgusting this morning, August 14, 2012.
Here’s the report from copblock.org:
Twelve individuals today decided that Ademo Freeman was guilty of three counts of felony wiretapping for recording his conversations with public officials per his attempt to bring accountability to a situation where it was noticeably absent – the assault of 17-year-old Frank Harrington, a student at Manchester’s West High School at the hands of Darren Murphy, the school resource officer and employee of the Manchester Police Department.
Ademo is ordered to spend 12-months in the so-called “House of Corrections” with 9-months suspended. He’ll then be under “good behavior” for the next three-years, which, if violated, means strangers with guns will force him into a cage at state prison in Concord for one-to-three-years. With “good time” he should be out in mid-October.
Folks….this is bullshit.

A public official has NO REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY WHEN IN THE COURSE OF CONDUCTING HIS OR HER DUTIES. This particular idiot was DOUBLE that in that he’s DOUBLE-DIPPING the taxpayer by not only being a cop, but being a “school resource officer” (cop on school grounds…for which our tax money in the form of “grants” pays). A PUBLIC OFFICIAL’s duties are PUBLIC. You, I, and everyone…we ALL have the RIGHT to know, understand, and scrutinize every move a public official makes while they’re on the job, especially…and they are accountable to us even when they’re NOT on the job, because our tax dollars support their lives, both public and private. But ESPECIALLY public.
WHY this jury would uphold the fraudulence of this is beyond us…unless it’s all part of the greater movement to crack down on anyone questioning authority in the form of the police state. We can only hope there’s an appeal, and that it prevails. Because if it doesn’t, this is setting a precedent that we won’t easily be able to undo.
Please support Ademo. Because folks…it’s creeping this way. And when the authorities can conduct their “business” in SECRET, we are all screwed.
