ROBBERY SUSPECT IN MARION JUST CAUGHT IN WEST FRANKFORT
MARION—We don’t have much on it, except that shortly after 12 noon, a man with long gray hair bearing a small handgun (possibly a .38 cal) left the scene of the Pilot in Marion in a small gray Chevy truck, possibly an S10. The gas station/convenience store had just been robbed; this man was described as the suspect.
About 25 minutes later, he was reported apprehended in West Frankfort.
When we learn further details, we’ll bring them.
