UPDATE ON MEDICAP SITUATION IN HARRISBURG; Wilson reached for comment

HARRISBURG—We’ve received word that there are federal charges pending in the matter that shut down the MediCap Pharmacy on East Sloan Street in Harrisburg yesterday, 07.31.12.

What those specifically involve is unknown at this point, however.

While no charges have yet been filed in either state or federal court (in any jurisdiction, which is important, as this appears to be a multi-jurisdictional issue involving not only Illinois, but Missouri and Kentucky as well), we’re keeping an eye on the court system and will try to bring it to you when it happens.

We were able to reach Harrisburg attorney Robert C. Wilson this morning, who spoke with Ang. She asked if he had a comment on the situation that brought him to the parking lot of MediCap yesterday, where official sources advised us that they had seen him walking around all the unmarked cop cars (we’re hearing now that they were federal agents from each state involved). Wilson said “Unfortunately, I’m under professional limitations and cannot make a comment to that.” When asked if he could speak to whether he’s representing specifically Steve Patton, owner of this MediCap Pharmacy, Wilson stated “I can’t speak to that.” Bob was very pleasant about it, Ang reported.

Attempts to reach Patton himself have been thus far unsuccessful. If ANYONE out there has a photo of Steve Patton, now would be the time to send it. We WILL be verifying the identity of the person in the photo with our official sources. You may submit to disclosurenewsonline@yahoo.com.

If or when this breaks, we’ll then be free to tell you more of what we know.
