MediCap reopened early afternoon; ChickenBob roaming the premises
HARRISBURG—We don’t have a lot new to report from the scene of the shut-down of a popular pharmacy on Sloan Street in Harrisburg, but we do have a little bit.
MediCap, which was closed this morning upon the arrival of what was reported to be unmarked police vehicles with license plates from Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky, reopened right before 2 p.m. according to our sources. There was genuine concern coming from the customers of the pharmacy, as many of them needed to pick up important prescriptions, and were turned away by authorities. So we’re glad they managed to get the place back opened up and serving the people, as to have their prescriptions transferred to another drug store involved getting with their physicians, and the sheer number of people overwhelming doctor’s offices with such calls was getting to be a “volume” thing; apparently, whomever was in charge of what’s going on at MediCap saw the sense in letting people at least get their medications, many of them life-saving for themselves or someone in their family.
At about the same time, an official source in Saline County contacted us to advise that none other than Robert C. (ChickenBob) Wilson, attorney, was wandering around the parking lot of the place, through the sea of unmarked cop cars.
We’ve not had it confirmed what ChickenBob’s presence there meant, but it was surmised to us by said official source that he was probably there to ascertain that “at least the warrant was good.” We haven’t confirmed AT ALL that there was even a warrant. That’s just what our source said.
Many of you out there know the hints and rumors surrounding this particular business. We are NOT allowed at this time to expound on any of them, and we will NOT. If there are any charges filed on anybody, we’ll report it. We’re not even saying that anything untoward is occurring. Hell, mainstream media already has it that this was “just a routine drug inspection” at the pharmacy.
We’ll let you have your opinion on that.
