UPDATE!! METH LAB EXPLOSION IN LAWRENCEVILLE REPORTED

LAWRENCEVILLE—Sources, both official and unofficial, are indicating to Disclosure that there was a meth lab explosion within the city limits of Lawrenceville as of Saturday afternoon, July 21, 2012.

We’ve received word that there has been someone injured in the explosion, and that this person has already lost sight in one of his eyes; this explosion supposedly may have caused him to lose sight in the other eye. We understand this person may be Jeffery Wease. According to sources from which we’ve gathered info, Wease was said to have been air-evac’d to a hospital in Indianapolis, where he’s receiving treatment for burns suffered in the meth lab explosion, and may be completely blind at this point. Wease lost sight in one of his eyes following a car crash a couple of years ago in which nasty meth-ho Fallon Nyhof was involved. More on that in the print version.

In the meantime we’re hearing that Tommy Shoulders, 36, who has an extensive criminal record dating back to at least the late 90s in Lawrence County, along with Roger Shoulders (definitely a relative, and it was supposedly at his place, reportedly in the Maple and/or 4th streets vicinity where this occurred), and Dave Booher, who has a meth history in Lawrence County, are all allegedly involved in this.
There’s also word of a stabbing occurring within the time frame of the explosion. Allegedly, one Angela Shoulders is involved in that, although whether she’s the alleged stabber or stabbee is unclear.
Much of this, it’s being said, has a lot to do with the week-old incident involving CC Cochran, who was busted early last Saturday morning (07.14.12) in Lawrenceville after a car crash, and an incident wherein a 2-year-old was wandering near Highway 1 south of Lawrenceville unattended. Cochran has managed to escape largely unscathed in the meth trade, but last week seemed to have been an exception, and the man is in some serious trouble with the law.
It would appear that the meth trade is booming in Lawrence upon the incarceration of one of its number one meth makers, Derek “Hootie One-Eye” Wells, who has been gone for a couple of months and, in his absence, a number of wannabes are taking his meth-making place. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a number of meth explosions taking place as well, as these noobs aren’t quite as well-versed as Hootie One-Eye. We’re hearing there have been SEVERAL in the past two weeks.
When we learn more, we’ll bring it to you; if we don’t get it here at the site, we’ll certainly bring it to you in the print version, on stands beginning August 6!!

  1. In Lawrence County meth labs blowing up are considered “Industrial Accidents” since meth labs make up a large part of the economy.
