AIRCRAFT REPORTED “DOWN” IN THE CAMP CADIZ AREA MAY HAVE JUST BEEN S.O.S. SIGNAL

That’s all we know right now…This was reported as having occurred this morning. Here’s an update on the situation from a SoCos source:

Just heard that an aircraft overflying the Camp Cadiz area early this morning spotted an S.O.S. being flashed from the ground and made a second pass over the area and saw the same S.O.S. again and reported it. A search was organized and nothing found. I heard nothing on scanner after 8:30 a.m., so I guess it had been abandoned by that time.

Was it kids playing? there are indeed a lot of rotten kids in that area…and this is just the kind of midsummer “I’m bored” stunt some of them might pull.

Keep checking back; we’re in Hardin right now, barely able to get a signal, but there are lots of cops all over down here.
