BREAKING: MISSING GIRL, ILLINOIS/INDIANA
ILLINOIS/INDIANA—We’ve confirmed through the Evansville Police Department that an Evansville teen has been missing since yesterday afternoon, and that a missing person report has been issued for her in both Indiana AND Illinois, including locally.
Katrina Lynn Dillworth, 15, was reported missing from her Evansville home yesterday, June 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. by family members. A Sergeant Kirby of the EPD this morning confirmed that she is in the NCIC system as a missing person. A report has also been made to Wabash Valley Communique` Facebook page.
These same family members advised Disclosurestaff last night that Katrina was last seen in the company of one Alexander (Alec) Sparks, 20, of Mt. Carmel. According to these family members, they were out most of the night last night (June 17) looking for the car he’s been driving, which is described as a silver Chrysler Sebring 4-door. Reportedly, the girl’s mother was able to contact Sparks yesterday, who advised her that he hadn’t seen the girl. However, other family members indicate, Sparks did the same thing with Katrina at some point in time last year, reportedly taking her to his father’s house in Fort Branch, Indiana.
Our sources in Wabash County have not been able to report whether or not they’ve located Sparks; however, they do report that they’re aware that the missing persons report indicates Katrina Dillworth may be in the area. Dillworth’s family members last night traveled across Crawford, Lawrence and Wabash counties looking for her. This morning, Indiana authorities have advised that they’re aware of alerts in Vanderburgh and Gibson counties.
If you see Katrina Dillworth, contact your local authorities, or the lead investigating agency, the Evansville Police Department at 812-436-7896.
