FIRE AT OLD POTTERY FACTORY, ROBINSON
Here’s what we’re getting from the awesome Facebook page, Wabash Valley Communique`:
Pottery Factory fire, Robinson
The old Pottery Factory is in the vicinity of the city park, from our understanding of the location. There is apparently a concern about what might be in the smoke, as emergency services are reportedly going from house to house telling people to stay indoors.
If we learn more, we’ll bring it. If you have pics of the fire, feel free to notify and we’ll upload them, giving you credit.

Just heard about this from my fiance’s Facebook a little while ago. That place raised a TON of families, my Dad worked there before joining ISP and my uncle worked there all his adult life. They built a toilet for Elvis once, as far as I know it’s in Graceland now. I was in and out of there several different times as orders went up and down, it was hard work but it paid decently and made a lot of good friends there.
I always did say if it ever got to burning it would burn like hell, it’s not worth firefighters getting hurt to save, the homes nearby are more important and the firefighters going home safe.
