Looks like Saline is clearing its docket: Rapist sentenced

SALINE CO.—Press release information from the office of Saline County State’s Attorney Mike Henshaw shows that a Harrisburg man has been sentenced in a 2009 sexual assault case as of last week.

Anthony Marcus Donaldson, 25, was sentenced May 25, 2012 in Saline County Circuit Court by Judge Walden Morris to 20 years in DOC. He also received three years mandatory supervised release (parole). This was after Donaldson pled guilty to the offense of Home Invasion, a Class X felony.

The incident occurred November 7, 2009 at 927 West Barnett Street in Harrisburg, when a 911 call was placed stating Donaldson had entered a residence and sexually assaulted an occupant. The victim was able to positively identify Donaldson as the attacker and he was arrested after several tips were received from the community regarding his location.

Assistant State’s Attorney Jason Olson led the prosecution of Donaldson.
