Shooting at Harrisburg Lake sends one to the hospital: UPDATE

HARRISBURG LAKE—We’ve received confirmation of a shooting at Harrisburg Lake, supposedly occurring earlier today, Sunday, 05.20.12.

While we don’t have many details, we do have the name of the individual who  was sent to an Evansville hospital with his injuries: Derek Miller. Our sources are telling us he’s going to be okay, but we don’t have details of his wounds or how he suffered them.

Initially, sources tell us, the incident was characterized by those involved as a “drive-by shooting.”

However, further investigation has shown that there may be no substance to this. While the investigation is ongoing, there doesn’t appear to be any indication as to the actual factors behind the shooting, drive-by or not.

When we know, we’ll bring it. If you know, post it.
