THREE YEARS AGO TODAY: GALLATIN CO. SHERIFF BUSTED
Just thought we’d remind you of an anniversary.
It was three years ago this morning—May 18, 2009—that the feds walked in to the Gallatin County sheriff’s department, introduced themselves as being there to arrest then-sheriff Raymond Martin, placed him in handcuffs, and took him to a waiting vehicle, as we said three years ago, “right there in front of God and everybody.”
What blew everyone away at the time was that we had actually predicted that very thing in 2006 when we produced a two-part series of articles highlighting what locals had been telling us—that Martin had been involved in the drug trade for YEARS. Please feel free to hit the link and read the actual stories we published, the publication of which got our paper removed from two vendors in Shawneetown and one in Ridgway.
While the sensationalism of the arrest lasted for many months, and the subsequent arrest of Martin’s wife and elder son occurred in January 2010, nothing rivaled the actual verdict rendered September 21, 2010, when Martin’s case finally went to trial in federal court in Benton.
Still, things aren’t over.
Martin has appealed his verdict and life sentence (on two counts of using a weapon in the commission of a drug crime); so that’s not over. There’s been no resolution to Tina’s or Cody’s Jackson County charges, so that’s not over. And worst of all, the dope is still flowing through Gallatin, aided, no doubt, by the locals, about which Martin spoke when he was trying to convince a con in Jackson County jail to kill witnesses in his case….telling him he could “follow the Mexicans to Texas and back,” at which time the “mexicans” would be transporting large amounts of marijuana.

Raymond Martin, exiting Jackson County's jail transport van, Jan. 2010....one of our most-used photos to date, as in....everyone in media grabbed this shot and used it as their own without giving us credit for it.
We didn’t see any subsequent arrests after that, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out just what Martin was talking about when he referenced that. Suffice it to say, Gallatin remains a dangerous place to live if you’re on the side of right. And as far as we know, there are still a lot of puckered assholes as regards the area farmers, who are wondering just when the feds are going to sweep in and do to them exactly what was done to Raymondo three years ago today.
Keep watching disclosurenewsonline, where if anything EVER occurs in this matter, we’ll bring it to you first….and if we don’t get it first, we’ll get it BEST.

Happy Anniversary Jack & Ang. What’s your crystal ball say about a similar cleansing for Richland County? When that breaks will you refer to it as the “Big Flush”?
I see they have finally gotten around to crediting Rerun for his driving prowess, who is badge number 40171? It also says Rerun is 5′ 10″ 225 pounds, the shadow of his ass is 240 pounds at least …. seems someone is in denial or forgot to put both feet on the scale. They still have not changed the charges against Brandon,
must mean when they are finally charged they want the Feds to keep the charges against them regardless too. BTW what came out of Flav’s status hearing yesterday, they did not update his next appearance ….. and why don’t the arrest his stupid ass when they see him driving revoked to his court date?
Disclosure is more accurate than Nostradamus and much easier to read.
Wow, I can’t believe it has been that long ago. I also can’t believe that there has still not been anything done with Tina and Cody. Why has this drug on for so long?
I wish I knew. This is absolutely ridiculous; there should have been a resolution to their matter long ago. The only thing I can think of is that the feds are waiting to see which farm family will either do something stupid, or turn on the other, and they’ll have Tina and/or Cody waiting in the wings (with felonies still hanging over their heads) to be the final nail in their coffin, because the feds are nothing if not all about making big arrests to justify their existence…
I think that Cody will get a deal since he testified against Raymond. However, Ms. Naas, probably should have taken a deal a long time ago. If they were going to drop these charges I don’t think that they would continue these monthly court dates. There is definitely something up. If she would have admitted to the crimes she committed in the beginning she would be out and on her way to becoming a rehabilitated con. However, she has decided to bury her head in the sand and play the poor pitiful me person and drag this on and on which only hurts those who did not ask to be drug into this whole mess. Her poor dad has been a hard worker all his life and now there is no telling how much of his retirement money has had to go for her bond and defense. Not to mention the kids, adults, and citizens of Gallatin County that have suffered because of this embarassment. As for her possibly giving information on the farmers that are involved in the drug dealing in GCO(which I am sure that there are several). She will never rat them out. She is probably sleeping with them along with anyone else that can keep her in the lifestyle that she has grown use to.
He got what he deserved! Hopefully they will get more scum soon
I unerstand the part about the Feds wanting something big but I don’t really understand what local farmers have to do with murder for hire charges. I agre with umml that if this had been settled in a timely manner, many people, including close family members, especially kids, would be able to move on. At tnis point, I am not sure her kids would all adjust to her new lifestyle off running and sleeping around. She may have been able to justify what she did before with Raymond…for the money and big house and all….but hanging out in Old Town may not be
The Feds got the big one they were after; his family members were just residual. Not to say that they weren’t aware of or aiding in his misdeeds, but he was the big fish. The Feds should have taken over the witness tampering case over as well. Raymond was indicted and being held on federal charges. The potential victims were federal witnesses, it only makes sense. This whole thing would have been wrapped up and Tina & Cody would have been to trial by now.
It is going to be disappointing for those with high hopes of more indictments for a big conspiracy, but this piece of Gallatin County history is concluded.
What they once knew of their loving mother. And knowing that Tony is accused of some wrongdoings with a female patron in his bar while TINA is out for the money doesnt set well with many Gall Co. Folks.
I just saw where Tina has a new court date on June 25th and Cody has one the following day. Strange. I had heard that too about Tony. I wonder how Tina feels about it. However, I don’t think she is too faithful to him. I think if you have money and are a man she is interested. She sure isn’t making a believer of me with her “poor, pitiful me” claim. She continually amazes me with her brazen behavior. It makes me sick to think how much gco lost to Raymond and Tina and we still are having to pay for them! It makes me even sicker when I think of the lives they have destroyed.
It makes me even sicker to see her taking pictures at her sons hs graduation wearing a see through dress with thong underwear on.
Lol I missed it becauseof work but my inlaws told me all about it! What was she thinking!! It has been talked about EVERYWHERE!
Well don’t worry umml, the pics are out there and i am sure disclosure will get them if interested.
Folks…..BE SURE when you obtain these pics that they miraculously get here…there’s a website where everyone and their dog can view them, you know…heheh.
I like pictures; they’re worth a thousand words each.
In Tina’s case, I’d multiply that by 10.
By the way, I saw her today at the gas station in Shawneetown….
As if I really need to ask; was she cordial? LOL
I don’t think she recognized me. I was near someone else’s ride and I think it threw her.
