SoCo woman charged with Hate Crime

HARDIN CO.—The woman who made an ass of herself during Hardin County Schools board meetings back in January has been charged with a Hate Crime.

Tina Wiliams, 42, listing an address in Cave-in-Rock, was charged April 13 with an April 12 incident in which she “by reason of the race of Ashton Parks, committed disorderly conduct in that she threatened bodily harm while directin loud and abusive language, including racial slurs, at Ashton Parks in such an unreasonable manner as to alarm and disturb her.”

Court documents don’t indicate exactly what it was Williams is alleged to have said to Parks. However, anyone who doubted what we were saying in the February/March issue of the print version this year, regarding the Hardin County Schools “Kill List,” and the involvement of the parents in the two young teen girls who originated this list, need look no further for verification than this story. Tina Williams, we were told back in January and February, has her own bend against certain ones in the city of Rosiclare, and has in the past shown her ass over this very subject. Williams and her husband, “Big Dave” Williams, have some kind of familial involvement with certain persons of color in Hardin County, and apparently, that pisses Tina off. So she has been alleged for months to have been raising hell with these people, and Ashton Parks is apparently one of those toward whom Williams’ ire is directed.

While we’re not all that big on “hate crimes” (reason being is that a crime is a crime; it should be charged as a crime, and not “enhanced” merely by what a person who commits it is THINKING at the time it’s committed), they are indicative of racially-based issues that so many places in southern Illinois are plagued with. Racism is baseless and divisive; there are so may other problems we have here in this country that need to be dealt with without applying race issues.

Lindsay Clark, right, and her "wife," Iva.

One such “problem” is that of identity theft…and it just so happens that in an unrelated incident, one Lindsay Clark, 23, of Rosiclare has been charged in two counties—Hardin AND Saline—in cases that involve alleged using of another person’s debit/credit card.

In Hardin County, prosecutor Missy Presser filed a charge April 13 over an April 5 incident of Identity Theft, in which it’s alleged that Clark used a personal ID document of Carly Eubanks, a debit card from Peoples Bank, to fraudulently obtain goods not exceeding $300. A bail reduction got her out on April 17 after she was arrested on a warrant.

In Saline County, she’s charged with a Class 3 felony Misuse of Another’s Credit Card over $300. This was filed April 10 from an incident same date as the Hardin one. Don’t know if it’s the same alleged victim.

There was an incident in Rosiclare about a year ago that kicked off this whole race war thing between Tina Williams and Ms. Parks/her friends; during that, Clark was involved in some aspect. We’ll dig out our notes and look into that a little later. In the meantime, be watching online and in upcoming print versions to see where this goes, as it’s rare that a hate crime is charged in Southern Illinois.

  1. I would be interested to see if any minorities have been charged with a Hate Crime when they shout “Honky” “Cracker” or “Peckerwood” at any White people during an altercation.

    • …well of course not Dennis…folks of color just love us white folks… 8) ..Hate crimes my ass, crime is crime, words are words, liberal driven, politically correct “enhancements” are bullsh1t. Do they even have hate crime enhancements in other civilized countries?

    • Exactly why we don’t believe there should be any “hate crime” legislation at all. It’s superfluous. If it’s not applied across the board, it’s not a violation, end of story. And I can’t tell you the last time I read of a person of color being arrested for hollering “honky mofo” when he was beating a white boy. Actually, I can’t tell you the last time I read of a person of color being arrested for BEATING a white boy….although it’s happened, and recently. And no, that’s not racist. That’s just a FACT.

  2. Well, I can tell You She was charged with exactly what She should of been charged with. I wasn’t there, but I have Senn Her in action! It was scratched into one of the stalls in the girls bathroom at Hardin Coubty, That bunch did it, People saw them and were afraid to talk! Iyt wasn’t taken off until Carriers Mills came for a game, and They were afraid of a Riot. Lindsey got exactly what She deserved, She looks like She has aged 20 years. Once a thief, always a thief. Sorry to disagree, can’t change the Worls and how it views things, but after the first time, and it is aimed at YOUR Family Member, it is OLD. I never was a racist, black People should not be calling White People Names either, this is 2012. Williams is not going to stop until someone She wants to hurt, gets hurt…

  3. Sorry for misspelling, keyboard is messing up!

  4. Dennis, how many altercations have You been in with a Minority?

    • Well Sick, it is hard to say. Let’s see, I was a cop in a town of over 60,000 people that had probably 35% Blacks and perhaps another 30% of other minorities. Over 20 years working the streets… hmmm… I don’t know, maybe 400? We often made as high as 10 altercation calls per evening so it is really hard to say for sure.

  5. So You are from a large town. o.k. I live in a rural town, more minorities than there were in the 60′s & 70′s. Still, white or black, if it said in an offensive way, out of anger, to start an altercation, then yes, I believe it should be a hate crime. You should have been charged way before this one. Children do not pick their parents, nor do They choose where to live, but, They have the right to go to School, store, restaurant, or anywhere else. with Parents permission, without being called that over and over again. I have Family who also work around Minorities. It is very hurtful, to Everyone, especially the Child. Wasn’t meaning to come off harsh to You, it is just close to My heart. Hope You didn’t take it as such.

  6. Sorry Dennis, I meant “she” should of been charged long before this.

    • No offense taken. I don’t know the woman involved. I simply feel that if they are going to have Hate Crimes on the books, they should be dispensed equally. To charge people based on the color of their skin is racism defined.

    • It is amazing to me that it was not considered a hate crime when 2 colored girls set Williams daughter up, held her down and beat her head into the ground. Even more amazing…NOBODY even got a ticket for it. It is portrayed that the Williams family is causing all the trouble, but not a word said about the Moores crap they pull…like filing false police reports, breaking an order of protection at school….and this is just for starters.

      • if you were REALLY tired of drama, you’d stop spewing shit that there’s no basis for. IF what you are saying was true, don’t you think there’d at least have been a police report, or a medical report? There would….but there’s not. That tells us all something right there. Someone is LYING…it can’t be both ways. And if the little Williams girl was set upon so badly, there’d be evidence, because she’s so much smaller than the other two girls…but there’s nothing. So I’m thinking you’re full of shit and are trying to deflect something.

  7. I totally agree with You. Thanks for taking no offense…

  8. Well in todays America it is quite common to see large groups of blacks beating and terrorizing white people or entire families and the media tries to downplay it as much as possible or outright cover it up. Many attacks are taking place in Chicago, Denver, Philly and even at the Iowa and Wisconsin state fairs last year.
Just YouTube it and you can see it is getting worse.

  9. Irish, this isn’t in a large town, very small, and this is an over age Women harrassing and slurring racism at Young Girls. She not only does this to Them, but Anyone Else in Her path, including Her Own Family! None of Us are going to be able to change the World We live in, but We can try to protect Our Own.
