RAYMOND MOSS GETS TWO DECADES IN THE PEN
SALINE CO.—Raymond Moss, well-known Harrisburg crim, is finally going to see some significant prison time.
Moss, 48, was sentenced last Friday (April 27, 2012) to 25 years in DOC following convictions on multiple Criminal Sexual Assault and Domestic Battery counts. Moss is best known for the incident in which, while he was driving like a crazy man “attempting to elude” local authorities in Saline County, killed the popular Hurd Brothers in a vehicle accident a decade ago, making him instantly one of the most despised people in South Counties. That was further exacerbated when his sentence was reduced through technicalities, and he was released from DOC in late 2009.
That release didn’t last long; Moss continued to get in trouble, which he protested was local authorities targeting him. While some of it may very well have been just that, the rest of it was his own doing, including the sexual assaults he subsequently perpetrated against his own girlfriend, as well as another woman, these which he’s now convicted of.
Moss received a sentence of 11 years each on the two CSA counts, which will run consecutively for a total of 22 years. However, he received three years on each count of Domestic Battery, which sentences are to run concurrent with each other (three years) but consecutively with the CSA sentences, for a grand total of 25 years DOC. Because Moss must serve 85 percent of the sexual assault sentences, he will spend roughly 22 years behind bars….if no more technicalities emerge.
Judge Mark Clarke issued the sentences, and he was described as being “very patient” with Moss while the convicted felon issued a 45-minute diatribe about how he believed the sentences were wrong because he’s been involved in the ongoing dope activities of public officials and other higher-ups in the county for years. However, most of what he spewed didn’t make a lick of sense to the listeners. We nevertheless applaud Judge Clarke’s fortitude for sitting through such drivel.

Well, well, well!
No longer being able to be out and about, but in a specific “environment” it seems perhaps Mr. Moss can find out what it IS to have Moss Growing On His North Side. He’ll appreciate moments in the sun during Yard Time. And may well find out what CSA is from…the other side of the coupling?

Was Raymond implying that Judge Clarke was involved in the drug activities or that he (Moss) was involved?
No…..he was of course implying that Mike Henshaw was. If only he were a more articulate man, someone might believe what he’s saying. But he gets so carried away listening to himself that he stumbles over what he’s saying and it comes off as complete and utter foolishness….which, we’ve determined from our work in Saline over the past several years, is EXACTLY what it is.
I suppose he will appeal this for as long as he can.
lET’S hear more about Judge Clarke. But can anything Raymond says be used?
No, nothing he said can be used…it’s the usual blowing and going. But it’s too vague. Anyone can make the claims he is. If he’s going to come across as believable, he needs to be coughing up some EVIDENCE instead of mere conjecture. His gripes and grumbles are getting old.
I’m sure the transcript of the hearing would make for some entertaining (albeit obviously fictional) reading.
Maybe if his career as a jailhouse lawyer doesn’t work out he can write some of those paperback crime novels that are sold in truckstops for $3.99.
