Norris City doctor charged with sex crimes
WHITE CO.—A prominent doctor in White County, Jogendra Chhabra, has been arrested on multiple sex and battery charges.

Dr. Chhabra is probably best known as being the doctor who was treating little Jason Lee Hoy in 2010 for Attention Deficit Disorder (and his parents were misusing the drugs that were prescribed him). Jason died in early June 2009 from a drug overdose that was actually accidental, as both parents and AJ Heid were giving the kid medicine and not conferring with one another before they did; his parents are serving jail time for his death.
Under the current charges, the doctor is accused of pinning a patient against his desk, grabbing her by her hair, forcing kisses upon her and fondling her.
We’ll have more on the current charges, including hopefully arrest and bond information if any, in the upcoming print version, which is on stands beginning Monday.

Russell, it was the LITTLE BOY who died of an overdose !
I’m wondering if Russell meant the towel-dude had a viagra overdose and couldn’t help himself….
That’s how I took it..I don’t think they give Viagra for ADD, do they? Well, I guess they do if they can’t keep their ‘attention’ on what or during what its used for…

Was it one of the little desks in the exam rooms or was it his office desk, I wonder? Did she scream or yell for help while it was allegedly happening and was it one of his staff members that reported it or any witnesses(staff member(s)). If so, can they confirm anything? Umm, like if she seemed to be traumatized or if her hair was messed up from it being grabbed? Or did she wait until after she left his office to report it? And I know you probably don’t have alot of the details yet, but these were just a few questions running through my mind as I read it. I’m just always full of questions, huh?
