WE CAN ONLY HOPE THIS IS FOR REAL

This is a screen shot from a group representing themselves as a 'rescue' in Edgar County; however, they are currently under investigation by the USDA for actually STEALING marketable dogs out of peoples' yards and charging a "rehoming" fee, along with other monetary fees, to 'place' these 'abused' animals. Those in Edgar County believe the current issues in Richland might be tied in with this 'rescue'; we're looking into it, and hope to have some results in the upcoming print version.

…and not some kind of stunt perpetrated by some rabid someone on one side or the other of the animal control debate.
