Here are your print headlines for the October 2011 edition of Disclosure, on stands beginning 10.03.11 and continuing through 10.05.11. The headline is preceded by the dateline, and a little synopsis following each.

The meth trash in question....

RICHLAND CO.—Sheriff, chairman and meth trash: Why, O WHY, do we still have meth trash blowing around the ditches of southcentral Richland? Because Sheriff Andy can’t find it, that’s why! And THAT just makes us wonder…especially since it’s blowing across the ditches at county board chairman Leo Ledeker’s place…

Howard Neil Weidner

CLAY CO.—Fed case proceeds: Howard Neil Weidner is making enemies and influencing people all around him….all because someone in his sphere of influence decided to sell Coach handbags…

SALINE CO.—Civil suit filed in Fort sex case: You know all about it….or do you? Read the print version to find out!

LAWRENCE CO.—Nothing off table in budget talks: The Lawrence County board struggles every year with the annual budget. This year, it’s about as bad as it gets.

HARRISBURG—’Power play’ in city, county: This headline should probably have had a question mark behind it, because “power play” is only what our sources were calling it, but Eric Gregg is on the case attempting to bring costs under control in Harrisburg while still encouraging business and growth…a tough job, but at least he is TRYING.

LAWRENCE CO.—Spoiled ‘rich girl’ loses ground after filing OP: The frivolous OP report of the month…& it’s a crazy one.

SOUTHERN ILL.—Petitions picked up across downstate: A comprehensive report on the initial petition picker-uppers….these only up to Sept. 21; anything after that will be in the next issue. But you will LOVE this article….if you pick up this issue for anything at all, pick it up for this.

SALINE CO.—Fort enters plea at last minute: A comprehensive report of the plea that ended the year-long misery for former chief deputy Todd Fort.

CLAY CO.—Repeat meth offender tops police blotter: Needs no further explanation.

Terry Hixenbaugh

WAYNE CO.—Federal indictee popped for fishing without license: Terry Hixenbaugh, popped while on OR bond from the fed. Duh.

WAYNE CO.—A tale of two DUIs: one barely a mention, the other a mess: Nate McGaha somehow got overlooked in local coverage after his DUI charge. Not here!

LAWRENCE CO.—Charged with strangling pregnant ex-wife: A tale of two losers, both named Wells, even though they’re divorced.

HARDIN CO.—Charged with hitting five cars and driving away: Don’t know what this chick was thinking, but the cars were all disabled.

HAMILTON CO.—Gender confusion appears in formal criminal charges: So bizarre, we had to run a copy of the paperwork just so you have a visual to help you figure it out.

SALINE CO.—Mystery lingers in wake of shooting/robbery: Mario got shot. We still don’t know why, but it wasn’t a random robbery like Bob Smith is saying.

HARDIN CO.—Druggies make deal for light sentence: Follow-up to the Juggaloes event.

RICHLAND CO.—Chief deputy and wife splitting the sheets: Ignorant term, but it explains the story well.

SALINE CO.—Flees after being caught cooking dope for breakfast: Well, he wasn’t really cooking it “for” breakfast, just around breakfast time….

WHITE CO.—Criminal charges filed after race car paid for but not built: You wouldn’t be able to get any other prosecutor to file this, these loser prosecutors tell people “that’s civil”….but not SCOTT WEBB, he’s a-takin care of bidness!!

WABASH CO.—Crim elecment favoring violence, burglary, theft: Just one thing to say—”don’t they all??”

SALINE CO.—Knife-play in the Mills lands one behind bars: Emergence of the Sherfields again, and, once again, as victims.

JASPER CO.—Busted for boosting makeup: Punk girls, allegedly stealing makeup.

HARDIN CO.—Michigan man faces felony charge after failing to comply: More post-Juggaloes insanity.

LAWRENCE CO—Pimp bonds out; cousin and pump charged: Dammit, this was produced and on the page before we learned that stoopid Hootie “the Pimp” Wells poked his eye out with a pocketknife. The dumbass.

WAYNE CO—Pair facing multiple weapons, theft charges: Slippery Jeffery T. Boyd, pairs up with Michael R Whitney. Too bad David Williams can’t get Boyd put away.

Jamie West, gonna kick Sequoia's ass for messin up her hair....just as soon as she's outta DOC.

WHITE CO.—White runners featured on heavy dope docket: The lovely Jamie West, looking bemused and disgusted after all that running.

RICHLAND CO.—Runner goes to jail tired: Why do these people run from the cops anyway?

HAMILTON CO.—Murderer pleads in last-minute negotiations pre-trial: The end of the whole mess of the murder charges against Randall O. McMahon…who will now, it appears, finally stop marrying and breeding with women half his age…..

RICHLAND CO.—Man busted for driving with beer bottle in the cupholder: I’d say “only in Richland,” but it happens everywhere….

Rachel Capuzzo, in need of eyeliner

SALINE CO.—Woman busted for boosting bling jailed: Rachel Capuzzo, whose file was missing when we went to check for the last issue.

CLAY CO.—Village and county face civil suit over injuries sustained on mysterious property: TOLD ya we had a lot of Clay County news this month!!

LAWRENCE CO.—A NON-frivolous Order of Protection prompts concerns for safety in Bridgeport: Crazy Lyndsey Polston is at it again; let’s hope something is done about it this time.

RICHLAND CO.—Violent doper assaults officer in local hospital: We’re wondering how Sylvia Pulleyblank is related to this guy, who likes his toluene/acetone….

SALINE CO.—Mayor lands man behind bars: E-town’s mayor Tommy Seiner, doin his job at da coal mine!

CLAY CO.—Pollution cased resolved by “amended” felonies—Jerry Troyer squeaking out of his charges for dumping unnamed pollutant in area waterways….

WHITE CO.—Bar fight leads to felony charges: What do you EXPECT to happen when a bunch of drunks get rowdy?

GALLATIN CO.—Speeding with dope a bad idea: There’s just no excuse for this one.

EDGAR CO—Watchdogs take on the county dog ‘groups’—People in Edgar County are doing everything they can to shut these guys, the Edgar County Watchdogs, down, because they’re impinging on their long-held status quo of corruption. Here, we’ve got a multi-county crossover, because everyone is worried about the prevalence of puppy mills and dog abductions.

CLAY CO.—Meth-charged man’s momma has tirade over truth: Connie Greenwood, Topper Eastin’s momma, isn’t going to like this second, truthful article about her bo-ay.

RICHLAND CO.—Troubled man just released on parole found dead in hotel after fire: Poor Grayson King.

GALLATIN/JACKSON COs.—Murder-for-hire case stalled; attorney disabled and in probate: Strange goings-on with Tina Martin and Paul Christenson.

COLUMNS: Surly & Uncooperative: Backdoor booze, the youth minister and WalMart; Prose & Cons: Meth makes some crazy if they DON’T use it; Keepin it Kleen: Remembering 9-11: what all was lost, & what we continue to lose in the erosion of freedom.

  1. Wonderful paper, although I am only half way through it since there is so much. You are seriously covering a lot of news. I am awaiting what will come out of the many upcoming trials in Saline. I am personally glad to see the end of the Fort saga. I am also looking forward to the upcoming elections in Gallatin and would hope that something will move forward in the Tina/Cody situation. If her attorney has been deemed incapable, would she not need to be looking for a new attorney so she can get this all behind her or will she be getting a public defender?

    • You’d think. But we don’t know that Jennifer won’t move in and take over, since Christenson is working on a retainer and that’s the flat fee he gets up front to deliver. So that’s probably what will happen; we’ll keep an eye on it and let you know when/if it happens.

This link should provide those wanting some info on recording in public the general info they need to know and what the courts have ruled most recently!

  3. Another great issue but then, they all are!
