Accused rapist takes a plea to reduced charge of unlawful restraint
SALINE CO.—The man who eluded authorities for a few weeks early this year after he was accused of raping and confining an acquaintance in her Harrisburg home, has entered a plea in his case.

Jackie C. Buckner, 31, entered a plea today in the case that stemmed from a late December incident in Harrisburg. During this incident, his victim, Tiffany Cooper (aka Kumorek), claimed that Buckner came to her home late at night and, instead of leaving in the early morning hours (about 5 am) he decided he was going to have sex with her—according to testimony in the prelim, quite viciously, the attack resulting in injuries to the woman, including heavy bite marks on her body and other terrible bruises.
Worse, when she tried to get away from him, Cooper said she couldn’t: he wouldn’t allow her to leave her own home. Her kids were coming and going, but, she claimed, he made as if the two were being ‘affectionate’ with each other, and they generally left the two alone. He reportedly restrained her in this way for a couple of days, until she was able to get away from him, and filed a No-Contact/Sexual Assault order. It was from this order that Assistant Saline County State’s Attorney Eva Walker came to file the multiple charges against Buckner of a Class X Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault with bodily harm, a Class 2 felony of the same count, and a Class 4 felony Unlawful Restraint.
Buckner, who was already on parole from a Williamson County charge, opted to take a plea to the Unlawful Restraint, and he’s back in prison—Big Muddy in Ina—as of tonight. He, and friends of his, protested his innocence, claiming he would never rape a woman. However, he’d faced identical charges in Williamson in years previous, and at that time also settled for Unlawful Restraint….so he knew what he was up against, as well as what he was up to.

Well if you can’t charge him one way just charge him with whateverr he will plea to and give him a new suit and three hots n a cot. Geez he’s either dumber than a bag of hammers or he’s a violent sexual predator…either way glad he is off the streets for tonite!
