SALINE CO.—Just learned that one of Saline County’s most bizarre & errant citizens has been cited on a couple of traffic infractions.
Paul J. McSparin, who caused grief and consternation for an Eldorado family for the better part of a year between late 2008-09 by stalking them while he was employed as a coach at Southeastern Illinois College, was cited recently for leaving the scene of an accident and no valid registration.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, “driving stupid” isn’t among the arrest-able offenses in Illinois’ Traffic Code, otherwise McFreak would be sitting in the Brown Lounge (aka Saline County Detention Center.)
McSparin gained even further notoriety by buddying up to Harrisburg CPA David Cox, and harassing then-cocaine suspect/now convict Tim Monroe to the point that Monroe called the two boys, threatening them and demanding they stop; the boys then turned Monroe over to the cops and he was subsequently charged with intimidating witnesses, as both McSparin and Cox were said to have partied down with Monroe and the white powder on countless occasions.
Coxie made the cut as a witness, but Pauliegirl didn’t, as his credibility was at issue by the time the matter came to court, what with all his stalking and his alleged involvement in the death of Dale Courtney.

OMG…I guess McSpermin has never heard the old saying that it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool rather than open it and remove all doubt. His e-mail to you makes him appear like a blithering idiot. No, wait, we are talking about Pauliegirl here, so that answers that.
