2011 Flood: New Haven, Ridgway, Equality

GALLATIN/WHITE COs.—Here’s the latest in three of the South Counties’ burgs heavily affected by the monstrosity that is the 2011 Flood:

Above is the singular shot we’ve been sent of New Haven, and it was sent to us by a Wayne County correspondent. This is the home of Terra Harris’ mom; Terra has just opened Sweet Temptations Bakery in Fairfield. We were told that the home was within inches of having water inside when this photo was shot, possibly yesterday; no update as of today…yet.

We were also pleased to see some correspondents send us these photos from Ridgway; the above photo is the road into Ridgway’s park; below is a view of the home of Annette Gulledge.

And this is a shot of what was going on in Equality today (where the water doesn’t seem to be going down at all). Illinois Department of Natural Resources are shown in their airboat coming into Equality from Forest Road. Our correspondent tells us they were at a hog farm owned by Kenny Millspaugh right outside Equality, trying to come up with a plan to get food to a hog farm right off Forest Road on Wildcat Lane, which is now only accessible by boat:

More as we get them….keep sending, folks, you are doing and AMAZING JOB!!!

How about them phony EMA directors out there…I hear a few of them have mental disorders and that their mommas put their diapers on to tight. Does anyone have any confirmation of the level of incompetence that our local government officials have allowed in these positions of great authority?
