A federal judge in Missouri has issued his ruling that a segment of the levee holding back the Mississippi River on the Missouri side can be dynamited by the Corps of Engineers to alleviate upriver flooding.

Today, Governor Quinn called out 200 more National Guard troops to come to Gallatin and assist with the efforts, including patrolling the levees holding back the Ohio at Old Town.
