Charges filed in Baker Street shooting, Harrisburg

HARRISBURG—Just got the info on charges filed against at least one person involved in the high-profile shooting on Baker Street in Harrisburg two weeks ago.
One Darius J. Barners, 21, of West Barnett Street in Harrisburg, has been charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons by carrying a handgun uncased, loaded and immediately accessible while not on his own land, home or fixed place of business; and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm for knowingly discharging said weapon in the direction of one Michael L. Simpson, both of these occurring on Feb. 1 at the Baker Street location.
Simpson is the guy reportedly of Terre Haute, Ind., who was taken to the local hospital for medical treatment and clammed up, “not wanting to get involved.” He wasn’t shot, but apparently may have been beaten with the weapon in question.
According to our sources, there is a 16-year-old male involved in the matter, and police are still looking for him, but there’s been no word on where he may have gone. Latest information on him has it that he might have been the one who sustained the bullet wound, and may be leaking from some unnatural open spot, which would cause pause in most people, but if he’s trying to run from a crime, this might not be so unusual for his crowd.

Was that Baker street or Barnett?
Hell idk. I thought it was Baker, the people I kept talking to said Baker. I’ll fix it in a bit, I’m dicking around with the new phones right now. How the hell can these phone companies create this shit for people with sausage fingers? I can’t text to save my life and Ang can’t text either. We might go back to Blackberries.
Android is better, just don’t get the HTC Hero.

We got the HTC Desire. Next month it’ll be something else we wish we’d have gotten. I think they ought to stop making cell phones, personally. We have an overabundance of batteries leaching cadmium.
You can download Thickbuttons from Android market for free and it helps. T
Try a droid2 (phone), they make one with a slide out keyboard, also you can talk to it (creepy but handy) to input a text and perform some other functions. The thing is a mini computer.
I just went to the Motorola Milestone and it is WAYYYYY better than the Hero. I think it is the Alltel version of the Droid 2, or at least very similar.

Did you see the video on Youtube where the droid2 exploded in a guys ear while he was talking to his dad? I think it was the droid2…it was a few months ago. I do know it was a droid.

Geez. We’re about ready to. These Androids are giving us FITS. Battery runs down in no time, apps are pains in the ass. Download has to take place when it’s plugged in or the battery blips out and it takes another hour for you to figure out your app didn’t download.

No, we’re just having trouble with the transition. Plus we refuse to read user manuals. If it’s not stupid-proof, we don’t want it. The Blackberrys were stupid-proof. These things are going to have to get more user-friendly QUICK or they’re going BACK.
Jack – do you have virus scan and ATK on your droids? ATK (Advanced Task Killer) helps quite a bit with battery drain.
We’re trying to get ATK….haven’t got it yet, that’s part of the problem. Wish it just came with it!

This is the time of the work cycle where things get booted and screwed around….we’re still trying to figure out what we’re doing today. If we get down that way again, we’ll try to swing by, or at least call you and tell you where we are!
ATK should be a really fast download… you may have to drive somewhere that has a better connection and get all of your stuff downloaded… or you may already have a virus.

I live right down the street a few blocks from where the kid was liveing,,and it seems that at least once a week shots are fired from that area…(not saying it was him,,but shots in general)..
No print about the Drive by in Harrisburg last night?? It was on the News. Channel 3 @ 5&6. Shots were fired right around the corner from where this shooting happened.
