Eldorado man wanted on sex charges busted in Marion County

SALINE/MARION COs.—Brian Bowlby is running no more.
Bowlby, 36, of Eldorado, was caught yesterday several counties away—Marion, specifically, in Centralia—wanted on a warrant out of Saline.
The warrant was issued on charges that Bowlby committed Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child against a family member under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged crimes. There are twenty specific counts in the charges, which are Class X felonies; this would mean that there are 20 charged instances of alleged sexual misconduct between Bowlby and his victim.
The incidents occurred, according to court files, between August 2001 and December 2002. Saline County’s sex crimes prosecutor, Eva Walker, advised us a few months ago that sex crimes can be charged against someone up to 20 years after the alleged victim turns 18, so the chronology here is nothing unusual (just ask Ricky Turner…) and Walker is to be commended for pursuing such cases as aggressively as she does.
Centralia police took Bowlby into custody 01.21.11 and he’s expected in Saline County court probably this week on a first appearance and setting of bond. Watch the site for updates, and the print version of course will have the full story, next one on stands February 9!

i went to school with this guy he was alway abused and mistreated even by some teachers back when we was in school the child advicotes was not there when u needed them what he did is not right he had a choice to change his life and still went back to what he knew that is sad.if he would have got help back then would he had turned out diffrent.just throughing that question out their.no way on his side just thought a little back ground would remind everyone the was an abused child his hole life.does not ok for what he choose to do with his life aND ILL B IN THE front roll when he is sentanced he deserves to pay for what he has done.
In what way was he abused and mistreated?By whom?
I know his Father went to prison for the same thing .
