Raymond Moss arrested on sexual assault charge
SALINE CO.—Well-known Harrisburg convict Raymond Moss, we have just confirmed, has been arrested on a preliminary charge of sexual assault.
Harrisburg police have taken Moss into custody.
We’re awaiting anything formal to come out of it; if it’s sexual in nature, that means Eva Walker of the Saline County State’s Attorney’s office will be handling it.
We’ll have more to bring as the day progresses…but we’re on deadline with 20 more stories to produce, then place…
Keep checking back!

And HEY to Jack (AKA @dmin), Angie, HHANNAH & S&S …Jack still just doesn’t sound right though. But J A C K it is! :((
@eileen, Good morning, it is gonna be tough for awhile, isn’t it?
@S&S, yes it just shows how change is hard on us “old folks”
@eileen, INDEED it is…
. Are ya getting rested up from your vacay?
@Eileen, sure ya did. You said they learned their womanizing ways from their dad. However, nowhere in this post, or the article, for that matter, is womanizing mentioned. The only sex referred to is the forced sex Raymond is accused of.
I’m not close enough to any of them to ask if their father was a womanizer, and if that makes him a bad man, there are very few good ones in this world. Sounds like you know them quite well, maybe personally, to be privy to their family lore, “the red-headed lady.”
Like the other commentor said, TW wasn’t a drug dealer, rapist, or repeat felon. IF he was a womanizer at somepoint in his life, that doesn’t undo a lifetime of hard work and parenting.
If sharing negative gossip about the dead, after apologizing for it first, is what you do best, keep up the good work.
@sayswho, yes you did, no I didn’t…and on and on and on…sounds like maybe YOU had a thing with one of them…just sayin
OH, and I meant to say THANK YOU.
Is anyone on here perfect? No skeletons in their closets? How many people in Saline County have done shit and it’s been kept secret? :p
@OHMY!…as I always say, there are no skeletons in my closet. I fashioned them into a fine necklace to wear. It makes for a good reminder of what NOT to do again.
OHMY,I thought i was wrong once,But i was mistaken!
@eileen: how on earth does it sound like I was with one of them? I haven’t defended any of the sons’ crimes, nor do I know them well enough to drag their long-dead father’s name through the mud.
I just found it low that you, after many other commentors expressed their views on the strong work ethic of the parents,felt the need to disparage TW by saying they learned it from him, particularly when you know the family well enough to air their dirty laundry.
@OHMY: unless Christ has an internet connection, I’m going to have to agree with you. Most of us have skeletons, and unfortunately, at you never know when somebody else is gonna dig up your bones.
@sayswhowhat
Oh well…we all know NO ONE is perfect in life. WT is old history, been gone along time…I say let ole dogs lay. We all have the freedom, and right to choose what paths we take. Sometimes we choose to “feed the wrong wolf” and it takes over our lives. (meaning we all are capable of good and evil) Does not mean a person cant change later in life…and choose to walk the other path. Parents can try to help their children to walk a straight path, but outside influance sometimes wins over. Just like leading a horse to water…you cant make them drink. All we can do is try, parenting didnt come with a “hand book” and we all have made mistakes, of some form and various levels. We all just shouldnt be so fast to throw stones, unless we are sure our houses dont contain too much glass we didnt realize was there. Peace.
Confucius says:
Man who live in Glass house should change clothes in Basement.
Or get tinted windows.
Man in glass house often exposes short comings.
@sayswho & goneforgood, LOL…Both true there. Too funny.
