White Squirrel Cruisers Car Show, Olney, 08.21-22.10!
The White Squirrel Cruisers Car Show was held over the weekend at the Fairgrounds and Park in Olney. This is one of the biggest car shows in the area and folks travel from several states to compete for dash plaques and trophies. Our staff was at the event Saturday, Aug. 21, snapping some great pics, like the one above of Aaron Carter’s 1969 Dodge Cornet R/T. Carter is from Lawrenceville.
Above is a 1971 Dodge Demon 340 (very similar, I might add, to Ang’s first car, she wanted me to inform you!). It’s owned by Aaron Osmon of Sumner.
Mike Bauman of Olney had his 1932 Indianapolis race car on display, as shown above.
Ed Jones of Olney brought his awesome 1931 Model A Streetrod. Jones used to run the car show.
All the way from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Wayne and Terry Johnson brought this 1941 Willy shown above.
Vince Vandyke, of Rinard, had on display this 1972 Ford F-100 truck, above.
Terry Legg and his wife, Carolyn, of Fairfield, post next to their 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass, above.
Bikes were on display, too, like this one owned by Josh Baker, a 2007 Honda CVR.
