BRIDGEPORT MAYOR MAD MAX DOESN’T LOVE HIS KIDS
He must not love them. Otherwise, why is he letting them have booze parties at the trailer adjacent to his house in town?
This, at least, is what’s being alleged by several in and around Bridgeport. There have been several calls to the residence by concerned citizens, who have good reason to believe (like first-hand reports, texts, and other pieces of info) that extended throw-downs have been going on and involve several area punks and partiers, including

Max' daughter, Sheila (Tequila) Schauf

Max' son Marky Mark Schauf

Max' other daughter, Alisha

Marky Mark throwin gang signs with a Schauf girl main squeeze and alleged violent hoodlum, JP Stevenson

and the ever-repulsive page 13 girl and self-professed sex fiend, 19-year-old Kaylie Castro, sometimes known in court documents as Castso
(Just a little update…for whatever reason, the page 13 girl has removed all references from her myspace about being a ‘sex freak.’ Embarrassed much? However, we have preserved them for all time and posterity. Love that screen grab tool. More as we get time.)
Castro and Sheila Tequila are currently under court supervision for Unlawful Consumption of alcohol by a minor. Maybe these pics will help prosecutor Lisa Wade see that this isn’t working out too great.
Anyway, these are just a few of the many alleged to have been involved in parties as recently as this past Saturday, where Mad Max came to the door and told the responding officers to get the phuque off his property. Nice upstanding figger of a mayor, hey?
There are worse things brewing with these miscreants, however. A lot of it was the subject of a police committee meeting held yesterday at Bridgeport City Hall, which we attended and were enlightened as to just how bad the hoodlumism is in Bridgeport.
The full story will be in the December 16 issue…look for it on stands that week, and be sure to pick up a copy, as this one will go fast.

Wish I was young and dumb again.
Now he(mayor schauf) wants alcohol sold on Sundays? isnt 6 days a week to these underage drinkers enough? add that to all the violence that IS associated with this bunch, and the fact they’re driving our streets looking for an innocent citizen to kill by being under the influence, the mayor evidently approves, ’cause he is allowing this to happen on a weekly basis and has stated he didn’t care. That’s some role model. The Bridgeport police department (the police that is suppose to be upholding your rights and protecting you) has repeatedly turned a blind eye to this behavior. Who are we going to bury because of this negligence before something is done about it? His son mark and j.p stevenson on what seems like on a weekly basis shows extreme violence towards others without cause or provocation and the all mighty police department sees no crime in this action? david dooley (aka dolittle, imo) does not deserve to wear a badge. He is unworthy to the citizens and the integrity of what that badge stands for. His partner in crime Scott Murray isn’t any better. But our cemetery still has vacancies for the ones these underage drinkers kill in the process > namely> mark schauf , sheila schauf, jason cooper, jp stevenson, alisha schauf, kaylie castro and many others to be named later. Its not a question of “if”, its a question of “when”, the visit to the cemetery is coming for the unfortunate innocent victim(s) that they harm or kill by their underage drinking.
Well it sounds to me like these kids are just out having a little fun and most people are jealous of them, honestly putting them in the paper is exactly what they want, it gives them attention and makes them feel like local celebrities. What really gets me though, is, why are they the only ones targeted for such behavior when many teens and young adults in the area do the very same thing if not worse, hmmm perhaps it has to do with who their dad is and what their last name is….just a little food for thought….
You’re very wrong about that.
These little idiots are only the latest in a LONG line of little idiots who have been featured in every issue since we went photo capable.
In fact, we were doing articles on underage drinking for YEARS before we began carrying photos.
These punks are no different than any other punks who pretend it’s a ‘status symbol’ to be in our paper. Invariably, they don’t look at it that way, but instead are hugely embarrassed and upset that they’re so featured, so they make like it’s all good. Look at the page 13 girl, Castro. Why the hell did she take all references to being a ‘sex freak’ off her myspace? She’s suddenly gone chaste? or is it because attention has now been called to it and maybe pressure is being put on her from the few adults in her life who still mean something to her? Unfortunately, that doesn’t carry over to underage drinking…but it’s a start.
So no, we’re not going to stop writing articles about their hideous behavior because someone says ‘it’s exactly what they want.’ The first concerned citizen was right: someone’s going to end up dead. Look at Tina Knapp. Adam Raber paralyzed himself drinking and driving a year and a half before he killed Tina. Yet all the newspapers in the area propped Adam up the entire year and a half before the second accident (the one that took Tina’s life), ignoring the fact that he had an established drinking problem at age 16. We tried to write it at the newspaper we were working for and our boss wouldn’t let us. And then Aug. 2, 2003 happened.
It’ll happen again, you just wait….unless something knocks some sense into the heads of these losers.
It’s not Dooley’s fault Max lets his kids do whatever the hell they want. Dooley responds to every call he’s given. It’s not like he can start violating the law to enforce other laws. It’s not the Bridgeport cops. It’s the mayor and the council who tie their hands.
Yeah, we saw that the other day…that’ll be in the next issue.
You know, word on the street is that Dooley, along with another County Police officer were made quite the fool of when an alleged underage drinking party was called in and supposedly was being held at the mayors residence. Apparently when the police showed up, walked in and searched the house they found absolutely nothing, no drinking, no drugs, no partying, NOTHING! I find that absolutely hilarious! Especially since it was on a saturday night, which is a night that people say these kids do all their partying on. I really think enough is enough, I do not agree or condone their behavior but lets face the facts, kids and young adults are going to drink and they are going to party and have fun. It has been that way for years, it doesn’t matter if they have money, a parent in the public eye, or if they are dirt poor with no parents to speak of, kids will be kids, and they are going to drink. And this particular group of kids really do enjoy all the “free publicity” that The Disclosure gives them. They joke about it, post it online, and make t-shirts and pictures poking fun at it, and all of this just fules the fire and encourages them to do more so they can appear in the paper issue after issue. Also, it was told to me by a reliable source that one of the Schauf children recently turned 21, meaning they are no longer applicable for the underage drinking section in your paper, so I ask you this, What will you try to get them for now? I assume you will pin “contributing to a minor” on them? Just a simple question, no need to get hostile over it.
We return assholishness with assholishness. If you want to call it ‘hostile,’ have at it, but that’s not what it is.
You’re wrong on the address. The party wasn’t going on at Max’ house. That’s another bit of his sleight-of-hand, and will be covered in the next issue. We have first-hand information on that.
And the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers that showed up at the meeting tonight didn’t look like they were joking about anything, nor did they look fueled or encouraged or like they were having fun at all. They looked flat SCARED. And one of them smelled like she hadn’t bathed in a few days. Just sayin.
This will come back to bite them on the ass, 21 or under. We received information tonight that’s going to guarantee that. It may take awhile, and they will screw up in the meantime, but this case is only just beginning.
you know i agree with what jack is saying these teens are going to drink the thing is most parents either dont know or “trust” their teens when they say o mom or dad we are just going to play monopoly or whatever but these kids are going to end up killing some innocent person or another teen and walk away from it with no consquences at all and it is the teens that choose not to drink that get hurt and of course the “cops” in this area are not going to do anything as it is all covered up because of who thier parents are so until this small town area get over the prejudice of whose kid is whose we are going to continue having these problems when all people are treated equal and the “cops” go after all juviniles not just so and so’s kids as they all so like to do .but i know just as most other people know thats never going to happen so people we have a choice now either treat everyone the same and get over whose last name is more important or play the game of burying of innocent people sorry thats my opinion get over it or get mad i dont care
Wow, bravo sanner90!!
That’s what it boils down to…everyone should get the same treatment, and they’re NOT.
Actually, there are many other teens who have gotten caught for underage drinking and got away with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. OH! And what about certain people who repeatedly get in trouble for drug and alcohol charges but always get away with it because they are related to the police, especially the ones who get in trouble that live in Bridgeport? Disclosue, I know you know who I am speaking of….I just dont understand the justice in all of this crap!!
We do. You’re right, there is no justice.
Scott Murray wants to blame it on the prosecutor, Lisa Wade. But Wade can only work with what she is given, and if a careless police officer does a shoddy investigation and doesn’t collect evidence properly, she doesn’t have much to work with. One of the worst things that can happen in a courtroom (according to how the legal people believe, anyway) is for a case to be thrown out on preliminary hearing for insufficient evidence. And in all the places where we go and sit in on prelims, Lawrence is the one place where we’ve not only seen it happen, but have seen it happen REPEATEDLY. And it all boils down, 100 percent of the time, to an incomplete report or a sloppy investigation or something equally stupid on the part of the police.
They have a sorry lot in Lawrence County and all its burgs.
Police are NOT responsible for preventing crime.

So stop acting so outraged that kids drink and get away with it, and stop acting like it’s Dave and Scotts job to make sure it never happens. It’s the parents job so maybe you should start looking at yourselves.
Nobody ever said that. READ the post.
It’s their job to RESPOND, mofos2.
When they don’t RESPOND, and when/if they purposefully make shoddy reports so that no charges can be filed, thus protecting certain higher-ups, you’re goddamned RIGHT it’s their fault.
And it isn’t OUR teenagers getting into trouble in Bridgeport or anywhere else, so btfo that shit.
Well I wasn’t responding to your post Jack. I was responding to the people who post that if the cops don’t stop the underage drinking that they can find them in the cemetery. And you are right, it is the police officers job to respond to the calls. I’m not sure what higher ups can be being protected on a two man force though.
Okay, fair enough.
But it’s true about the underage drinking/cemetery analogy.
And on a two-man force, ALL the higher-ups can be protected, especially if the mayor threatens the jobs of the police officers if they “come into his house again.”
See the print edition next week.
Word on street isnt very reliable then, cause it came over the scanner (heard by several) by the officer on scene that “entry was denied and wasnt able to do a search or breathalizers due to refusal by max schauf and there was underage kids there and that max schauf got all irate and cursing and told them to get the “xxxx” off the property or else and they said they obliged and left”.
For those of u that have posted “theyre just having fun”- its illegal for under the age of 21 to drink, therefore there is no fun, they’re breaking the law and in the same process setting themselves up to hurt or kill some innocent people. where is the fun in that? would it be as funny if it was some one u knew they hurt or killed by there “having fun”? its ILLEGAL. By state law, they can “have fun” at age 21 not 15-20.
As far as the list posted above, its interesting to say the most, but we fail see to see bridgeport on that list. The bridgeport police pick and choose who they want to make responsible for their actions.
There r city ordinaces against moving mobile homes ect into bridgeport but yet max schauf moves 1 in across from the bank. That just coincides with him thinking, him and his kids can do whatever they want and that there above the law. But i guess u r above the law when u own them and threaten to fire them if they cross u, so he thinks.
It’s not just the underage drinking, it’s the violence they create when they do it and get away with it. the bridgeport police are just encouraging them by not making them responsible for there actions til someone gets hurt or killed. then its going to be alot different when its ur child on some 1 u know. We will c how much “havin fun” it will b then. Why does it always have to come to that around here is the real question before something gets done?
they are makin threatening text and that’s illegal in this state however it seems legal for them to do it here in bridgeport
We live in a corrupt county and until we the people step up, we will always carry that embarrassment with us. Start with saving lives and make max schaufs kids and j.p. stevenson responsible for what there doing.

If this guy were the mayor of a larger city, then you can bet your life on it that the media would fly into a frenzy to cover it. So let them make the shirts and the lame jokes, it only highlights their sense of entitlement.
For fuck’s sake, I’m saying this as the son of a public official.
they have the parties at a old mobile home inthe out skirts of b port any given saturday u can fin about 10 or more teens there drinking .. just ask anyone
